From Sean Thomson:
I coached a 10U/4th-grade boys AAU basketball team with another program last year and I quickly learned that the existing AAU programs in the Lehigh Valley were not organized to work well with younger players (particularly 4th - 6th graders) for the following reasons:
1. Practice schedules weren't coordinated to work wit

1. Practice schedules weren't coordinated to work with multi-sport athletes (baseball, lacrosse, and soccer players)
2. Tournaments entered were too far away and didn't work with multi-sport athletes
3. Costs were too high with other spring sports' costs and commitments
I quickly learned last Spring that because of the reasons highlighted above, it was impossible to be competitive in AAU tournaments in the 4th-6th grade levels, and at times I could barely field 6 players to attend practices and tournaments.
Therefore, my wife (Maureen) and I decided to build a non-profit (legally incorporated in Pennsylvania, registered with the AAU, and holding 501c3 IRS non-profit status) to fill the void for the younger basketball players in the Lehigh Valley who are interested in:
1. Continuing to play their other spring sports (baseball, lacrosse, soccer

But also interested in...
2. Training 2x a week in basketball (when available / not conflicting with other spring sports) with similarly talented kids from other Lehigh Valley schools
3. Working with experienced youth basketball coaches dedicated to developing all of the players and building an elite team
4. Playing together in AAU tournaments that are mainly local to the Lehigh Valley (when available / not conflicting with other spring sports)
Drop us a line to cheer us on! We will get back to you as soon as possible.
We look forward to seeing you at our next game!
